1

Initial Contact

A parent, carer or school gets in touch by email, phone, or our website contact form to request EP involvement.

2

Admin Response

Our admin team responds to discuss what’s needed – for example, the type of assessment and likely timescales.

3

Date and Location Agreed

We arrange a suitable time and place. All assessments are face-to-face and can take place at school or at home if needed.

4

Pre-Assessment Pack Sent

A pack is emailed to the main contact, including a questionnaire and consent form. This must be completed and sent to admin@aroaeps.co.uk before the assessment.

5

Background Information Shared

The main contact is asked to email any relevant background information and documents to admin@aroaeps.co.uk before the assessment for the EP to review.

6

Assessment Day

The EP tailors the session to suit the young person’s needs and the reason for assessment. Each one is unique, so timings may vary.

7

Written Report

After the assessment, the EP writes a report outlining their findings, the child’s needs, and recommended support or provision.
