support for all education providers

Our team can work for your team

Aroa are the chosen Psychologists for a number of schools across the country, providing assessments, advice, training and family and staff support.

Many schools have a lack of access to EP services and this can lead to a lack of support and appropriate funding for young people, resulting in their needs not being met.

At Aroa, we can provide a dedicated EP to form part of your school team. Through discussion with you, a block of days, or a number of days per academic year can be agreed, and work from your EP can be tailored to meet the needs of your staff and families.

I have founds Dr. Short fully committed to working with our children in school . She is thorough in her job making sure she spends time with parents, class teacher, myself as SENCO as well as the child to gather as much information as possible. She has a lovely manner which puts both adults as well as children at their ease. I am also regularly attended our parent support and signposting she has give me over the past 2 years, either by a quick phone call or email.

Leanne has provided us with exceptional work which has included a range of assessments followed by prompt accurate reports for children of all year groups - reception to Y6. Follow up reviews and meeting with parents have always been beneficial and supportive to the child involved, parents and staff. Leanne has also regularly attended our parent support meetings for children with a diagnosis of ASD (or one pending) and offered advice and practical strategies.
